Canoe Rentals will once again be available for this year’s Paddle Bayou Lafourche event. The price is $70 per day or $250 for all four days (per head) and includes your trip registration fee, canoe rental, continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, fruit, water snacks throughout each day, t-shirt, camping facilities, shower and restroom access, nightly entertainment and a daily shuttle to your vehicle.

A LIMITED NUMBER OF CANOES ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENT DURING THE PADDLE BAYOU LAFOURCHE EVENT!

  • A shuttle bus will be provided for all four days. Every morning, the shuttle will travel from that day’s campsite, up the bayou, to that day’s launch site to drop off paddlers. This way, you have all of your gear waiting on you at the camp site at the end of the day. The shuttle will leave at 8:30 AM SHARP from the campsite. If you are not on the shuttle for 8:30 AM, you will be left behind and it will be your responsibility to make any necessary arrangements.
  • If possible, please drop of extra passengers at the launch site and have one person in your party drive to the campsite. This will help to maximize the limited space on the shuttle bus.
  • If you are renting a canoe, you need to bring your vehicle to the campsite and catch the shuttle to the launch site. Your canoe will be waiting for you at the launch site. If possible, please drop of extra passengers at the launch site and have one person in your party drive to the campsite. This will help to maximize the limited space on the shuttle bus.
  • If you are bringing your own canoe or kayak, you need to drop off your canoe or kayak at the launch site and then drive to the campsite to catch the shuttle. BTNEP staff will be watching over your canoe or kayak as you drive to the campsite. If possible, please drop of extra passengers at the launch site as well, and have one person in your party drive to the campsite. This will help to maximize the limited space on the shuttle bus.
  • Parking will be in public places and authorities have been notified. Please allow 30 minutes drive time between the launch site and the campsite for each day.
