BTNEP hosts a variety of events that give the public an opportunity to participate, while getting educated about the BTES.
Understanding land loss, water quality issues, protecting native species, and enhancing habit for natives are all important issues for the public to understand. Activities highlight the unique relationship between our natural heritage and our cultural heritage. Events also emphasize on historical connection between the estuary and those who live here and highlight on the importance of the regions cultural practices in protecting the estuary and its resources.
